hustle of everyday life. Nestled amongst towering trees, in a private game park,
the comfortable accommodation is a perfect base to explore the area.
The lodge has
long been a favourite holiday destination amongst hikers, whether you are staying
in one of the 19 bedrooms - adjacent to each other, or in one of the 4 self-catering
cottages, family log cabin or tree house, situated separately for those who prefer
more privacy.
The lodge offers comfortable accommodation for small and large tour
groups and is ideally situated for corporate escapes with our fully equipped conference
venue.

About the area
The area is famous for its wildlife, wetlands and zulu culture.
The main attractions in the area are the national game reserves - Hluhluwe/Imfolozi
and Mkuze game reserve, and a World Heritage Site - Isimangaliso Park. Two unspoilt
beaches, Sodwana and Cape Vidal, are only an hour drive away.
The area is known as the Elephant Coast within KwaZulu-Natal province. The closest
town is a small rural village, Hluhluwe. Ezulwini Game Lodge is situated away from
Hluhluwe town, but is easily accessible on tar roads and a short well maintained
sand road.
The airports in Durban (3 hour drive) and Richards Bay(1 hour drive) offer.

Things to do
A variety of activities are on offer. We will gladly provide information and maps
to assist in planning and organizing your tour program. Guided game drives are done
in-house or only reputable companies are used with qualified and experienced guides.
Activities include:

crocodile and snake parks
wetlands: day tours, boat cruises, hiking, birding
